Delete your Tronix Media Player account and data

How to delete your Tronix account and the data that goes with it, in the app or without the app.

App
Tronix Media Player
Shown as “Tronix” on your device
Developer
Snow Media Ent. LLC

In the app

  1. Open Tronix. If a Kids profile is in use, switch to a grown-up profile first: Kids profiles don’t show My account.
  2. Go to Settings › My account.
  3. Choose Delete my data, then confirm.

Your data is deleted from our servers straight away (see what is deleted), and the app signs you out.

Your line is not cancelled

Your subscription (your “line”) is with your provider, not with us. Deleting your data does not cancel it; to cancel it, contact your provider.

Signing in again starts a new account

If you sign in again later, Tronix creates a new, empty account.

Without the app

Email support@snowmediaent.com (or help@tronix.live, if you got your line from a Tronix provider) and include:

  • the name of your provider, or the portal address you signed in with, and
  • your line username.

Never send your password. We may confirm the request with you or your reseller before deleting. We complete requests within 30 days and delete the same data as Delete my data in the app.

Tronix Premium account

A Tronix Premium account is the email address and password you use to sign in to Tronix Premium. To delete it, open Settings › Tronix Premium › Delete account in the app, sign in below and delete it here, or write to info@tronix.live from the account’s email address.

This deletes the account, its plan and its devices, and every device signed in to it is signed out. A plan bought on our website stops renewing. A plan bought in the app is a subscription with the app store you bought it in: cancel it in that store's subscription settings, because deleting the account doesn't cancel it. Purchase records stay for 7 years, for accounting, without the link to your account.

Forgot your password? Write to info@tronix.live from the account’s email address and we delete it for you.

What is deleted

From our servers:

  • your account and its viewer profiles (names, avatars, Kids profiles and their PINs);
  • your favorites, watch history and where you stopped watching;
  • your line’s sign-in records (username, encrypted password, line status and expiry date) and the list of devices your line was used on;
  • the customer record linked to your account, with what you listed in My Devices & Services;
  • your line’s entries in the customer records resellers keep in our Hub. A customer record your reseller made for you there is deleted too, unless your reseller keeps other services or notes of their own on it: it then stays with your reseller, without your line (ask your reseller to delete it);
  • your support requests, their messages and attachments (screenshots and voice notes);
  • your AI assistant conversations and AI usage logs;
  • app usage and crash data linked to your account;
  • the record of a one-time unlock bought in an app store.

On your device, the app signs you out, which removes your data from it. Only the names and server addresses of the providers the app has found stay until you uninstall the app.

What is kept, and for how long

WhatKept for
AI cost records: which kind of AI call it was, what the AI provider charged for it and the reseller. Never what you asked, and no longer linked to you.Kept as billing records

Sign-in help requests you sent from the app's sign-in screen.12 months
Records of support requests sent on to a connected support system: our identifiers and whether each went through, never the text.90 days
App usage events not linked to your account.12 months
Crash reports not linked to your account.90 days
Hashed IP addresses, kept to protect the service from abuse.Up to 30 days
Channel “down” reports sent from the app.2 days
  • Your provider and the service you sign in to keep their own records of your line. Ask your provider to delete those.
  • A connected support system: if the Tronix admin connected the Tronix service’s own support system, the support requests and messages sent on to it stay there, under that service’s own privacy practices. Ask the Tronix service to delete them.
  • Notices to our staff: copies of support and sign-in help requests already emailed to our help desk or posted to our staff’s team chat stay there until our staff delete them. Ask, and we delete them too.
  • A store purchase: the app store keeps its own record of a one-time unlock you bought. Deleting your data does not refund it, and the app can restore the unlock when you sign in again with the same store account.
  • Recordings are saved only on your device or USB drive. We never receive them, so delete them there.
