Tronix — Terms of Use

1. Who we are

The Tronix app ("the app", listed in app stores as "Tronix Media Player") is provided by Snow Media Ent. LLC, 5605 Summer Cypress Dr., Bakersfield, CA 93313, USA ("we", "us"). Questions: support@snowmediaent.com (customers of a provider that offers Tronix sign-in can also write to help@tronix.live). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy (https://hub.tronix.live/privacy) explains what information the app uses.

2. What the app is

Tronix is a media player. Apart from a few sample channels (self-made test channels and openly licensed short films, credited in the programme guide), it does not host, provide, sell or include any channels, films, series, sports or other content, and it is not affiliated with any channel, network, league, studio or other content owner. To watch anything else you sign in with a subscription ("line") to a service that you obtained separately, from a provider you chose, or add a playlist of your own. Everything else you watch comes from that subscription or playlist; its provider, not us, is responsible for it, for what it includes and for having the rights to it.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Use the app only with a subscription you are entitled to use, and only to watch content you have the right to watch where you are.
  • Do not use the app to infringe copyright or other rights, to get around a lawful block, or for anything unlawful.
  • Keep your line's username and password private. You are responsible for what is done with your sign-in.
  • Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law or an open-source licence shown in the app (Settings › My account › Open-source licenses) allows it.

4. Purchases

The free version of the app costs nothing. The Google Play and Amazon Appstore versions may offer a one-time unlock through that store; when they do, the store handles the payment under its own terms and refund rules, and the unlock stays with your account. The app does not sell subscriptions, channels or any content.

5. Copyright and abuse reports

Apart from the sample channels, the app does not host or distribute content, so we cannot remove content from a provider's service. If you believe a provider uses the app to make your work available without permission, or the app is being used for abuse, email support@snowmediaent.com with the subject "Copyright" or "Abuse" and include:

  • your name and contact details, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them;
  • the work concerned, and the provider's name or the server address involved;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and that your report is accurate.

We review every report. Where it is justified we can, for example, stop the app's service-provider lookup from finding that provider, and we keep a record of the reports we receive.

6. Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or stop the app or any feature, and may change these terms; the effective date above shows the latest version, and significant changes are shown in the app. Features that need our servers (for example the assistant) may be unavailable at times.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will work with every provider, device or network, or without interruption, and we are not responsible for any provider's service or content. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

8. Ending

You can stop using the app at any time and delete your data in the app (Settings › My account › Delete my data) or at https://hub.tronix.live/delete-account. We may stop providing the app to anyone who breaks these terms.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of California, USA, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
